The Streater Family Reunion was held at the Cheraw State Park in Cheraw, South Carolina, July 25-27, 2025. Approximately 100 family members were present, traveling from distances such New Jersey, New York, and California, as well as those attending who continue to reside in the Carolinas.
A welcome meet and greet with games, fellowship, a discussion of family history, and a viewing of a Streater geneology video was held on Friday evening at the host hotel, Springhill Suites in Cheraw. On Saturday, the family gathered for more fellowship and documenting of family geneology. After a day in the park, a wind down gathering was held at the hotel for family fun, games, and the opportunity to view additional video excerpts of our family geneology.
Sunday morning, family members were honored to join the members of Drucilla AME Zion Church in Chesterfield, SC for the worship service, and were pleased to provide a donation to the church on behalf of the Streater Family Reunion. The reunion officially closed with brunch at The Shed Restaurant in Cheraw.
The next Streater Family Reunion will be held in 2027, at a location to be determined
